Wouldn't Change A Thing

You could offer me money
And I wouldn’t change a thing
Not my hair, my nose
Or my hips that swing.

I wouldn’t change the way I walk
If you offered me gold.
Or the skin that I’m in
Deep down to my soul.

I wouldn’t change where I’m from,
I wouldn’t change what you see.
I wasn’t born in Africa,
But she was born in me!

Why wouldn’t I change?

‘Cause I’m a proud Black woman.
A Goddess, a Queen.
You could offer me the world,
But I wouldn’t change a thing.
